Executive/Executive Assistant (KL & KK)

Responsibilities:

  • To report to Head of Department on any matters assigned operationally and administratively.

  • To give advice to clients on any matters pertaining to their insurance portfolio and to serve in the interest of the clients based on the prescribed policy.

  • To follow up and liaise with retail clients, insurance companies and relevant authority on any matters pertaining to their insurance portfolio, broking documentation, assisting Claims Department on settlement of claims or other matters related to broking services and insurance.

  • To ensure compliance with ISO requirement, company policies, procedures and statutory requirements.

  • To manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.

  • To ensure prompt billing to clients as well as prompt collection of premium from clients and to ensure that the CBC and Premium Warranty requirements are being complied with.

  • To be fully responsible on the quality of services provided to assigned clients and be appraised thereon.

  • To ensure that physical documentation is properly maintained and relevant correspondence is readily available once required.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies or Risk Management (Insurance) or any Professional Insurance qualifications as approved by Bank Negara Malaysia.

  • A least 1-2 years’ experience in the insurance industry; fresh graduate is considerable.

  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Resourceful and able to work independently.

Senior Manager Corporate Broking

Responsibilities:

  • To report to the Chief Executive Officer on any matters assigned operationally and administratively.

  • To lead and monitor the day to day operations of international business and corporate broking unit.

  • To delegate and supervise work of subordinates for any assigned task.

  • To authorise any transaction involving the broking process.

  • To ensure prompt collection of premium from clients and to ensure that the CBC and Premium Warranty requirements are being complied with.

  • To plan, direct and coordinate marketing strategies to create public awareness and demand on the products and services offered by the company.

  • To be responsible in meeting the sales targets.

  • To prepare weekly/monthly reports as required by the Chief Executive Officer.

  • To ensure adequacy and development of personnel in the department.

  • To ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and statutory requirements.

  • To perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

  • To oversee claims department.
     

Requirements:

  • Professional Insurance qualification-ACII/AAII/AMII/AIIC/CPCU/Fellow from Life Management Institute or Degree in any discipline

  • Minimum 6 years working experience in insurance industry.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Good communication, negotiation, written and interpersonal skill.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • To report to the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Marketing Officer on Anika’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs for KL Office and including branches.

  • Design, implement and facilitate annual marketing plan and business development strategy for Anika.

  • To plan and administer Anika’s marketing budgets which will include KL and the branches separately.

  • To supervise content and dissemination of the company’s overall marketing materials, to create public awareness and demand on the products and services offered by Anika

  • To support and facilitate development and implementation of business units and branches business/marketing plan and to ensure sales target are achieved accordingly.

  • To pro-actively nourish, organise and implement Customer Relations Management (CRM) programs including customer satisfaction survey, development activities, special events, marketing database, etc.

  • To keep up to date on new or enhanced services and marketing tools and initiatives in order to enhance Anika’s competitive edge and unique value proposition.

  • To continuously review marketing processes, identify and resolve service gaps by providing constructive feedback, and implement process improvements where appropriate.

  • To perform any other duties assigned by the CEO/CMO or Board.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum recognized Degree and / or professional insurance qualification. A degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.

  • Possess at least five years’ experience in marketing management and strategic planning experience.

  • Proven track record in developing and administering marketing program.

  • Knowledgeable about Bank Negara guidelines for insurance industry.

  • Polished presentation and business management skills.

  • Comfortable working with people.

  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and servicing of the Trade Credit Department by seeking the opportunities with other prospective business channel in order to grow more businesses.

  • Develop and secure new business to every market opportunity to profitably grow the Trade Credit portfolio and to achieve the budget.

  • To execute business plan and implement business strategies in order to achieve the goals set by the team and department.

  • To provide general insurance solutions and develop insurance plans/proposals for clients.
